Alyssa Saldana is an Analyst with Avivar, supporting the team with portfolio monitoring and due diligence. She is a recent graduate of Harvard College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a secondary in Government. A two-year captain for the Division I Harvard Softball team, Alyssa has helped lead the team to two Ivy League championship titles and two NCAA Regional appearances. Alyssa served as the Community Relations Director for Harvard’s Women in Business. In this role, she was in charge of organizing events focused on strengthening community, inclusion, and network amongst female leaders. She was also the Events Chair for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Her responsibilities included planning events focused on bridging the relationship gap between student-athletes and Harvard's academic community. Alyssa actively volunteers with the Special Olympics, helping local Los Angeles special needs children develop team-building skills. During the summer of 2019, Alyssa interned with Avivar Capital as a Summer Analyst. Before that, she was a sales intern for StateFarm Insurance.
