An Impact Investment Fund for the San Joaquin Valley:
Fund Development

Designed, developed and launched the San Joaquin Valley Impact Investment Fund to accelerate regional efforts to making the San Joaquin Valley a healthier place to live, work and prosper for all. With lead investment from Sierra Health Foundation and Dignity Health, the SJVIIF aims to sustain and scale solutions to regional challenges voiced through 100 grassroots community organizations funded by the SJVIIF’s grantmaking partner, the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund.

Impact Investing Collaborative in the Southwest:
Impact Investment Collaborative Development

Facilitated a cohort of funders and other impact investors to design, develop, and launch a collaborative impact investing clearinghouse model in the southwest United States. Through an impact investing shared services platform, the Collaborative supports healthy, equitable, sustainable and economically resilient communities across the southwest by facilitating and increasing the supply and effective deployment of impact investing capital throughout the region.

Increasing Post-Secondary Educational Attainment through Venture Investing:
Portfolio Management

Supported the design, launch, and deployment of an impact venture division focused on early stage EdTech companies for a large private foundation focused on increasing postsecondary educational attainment.

An Equitable Food System for Michigan:
Fund Development

Designed, developed, and helped to capitalize a loan and grant fund to support access to healthy food for all Michigan residents. The Michigan Good Food Fund also seeks to expand economic development and job creation to grow Michigan’s economy; ensure equitable access to food, jobs, ownership, and flexible investment capital; encourage sustainable environmental practices; and increase the sourcing and supply of locally grown and regionally produced foods.

 
 

Wisconsin Impact Investing Collaborative:
Impact Investment Collaborative Development

Facilitated the launch of a statewide impact investor collaborative in Wisconsin, including the creation of a website and guide to regional impact investing that set the stage for ongoing collaboration between investors and stakeholders to create more equitable and sustainable communities throughout the state’s urban, rural and tribal areas.
