Christopher Thompson, CFA is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to graduate school, Chris spent a number of years as a fixed income analyst, most recently with the high yield team at Nuveen Investments where he covered the technology sector. Chris is fascinated by the intersection of finance and technology, especially how its power can be harnessed to create new opportunities and uplift those who historically have been underserved by both sectors. He earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University. Chris also is a CFA charterholder.
