Gabriel Prado Correa is currently a Master of Public Policy candidate at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, focusing on international development policy and data science (Python and R). Prior to graduate school, Gabriel spent three years working in Chicago as a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s valuation and financial modeling group, where he specialized in performing valuations of public and privately held businesses and intangible assets for financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and gift and estate tax planning purposes. Throughout his time at Deloitte, Gabriel assisted with recruiting efforts and facilitated training sessions for interns at Deloitte University, leading them through project simulations as well as real life consulting cases. During the summer of 2015, Gabriel worked as a microfinance intern at World Business Chicago, where he conducted due diligence and financial modeling to allocate grants to small and medium enterprises in the Chicago area. In 2014, Gabriel worked as a teacher and researcher in Jinja, Uganda, where he taught fifth-grade math and English at Saint Andrew’s Primary School as well as coaching the school’s soccer team. Gabriel is from Santiago, Chile and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2016 with a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in International Peace Studies.
