Kahlil Keys is a Summer Associate at Avivar Capital, supporting the investments team. He recently completed his MBA at UCLA Anderson with a focus on Entrepreneurship. Prior to pursuing his Masters, Kahlil held significant positions in strategy and business development within the sports and entertainment industry. Notably, he served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Gen.G Esports, overseeing the expansion of the Gen.G Global Academy (GGA) in the United States. Under his leadership, GGA U.S. provided 300+ students from underrepresented backgrounds with opportunities to explore college and career pathways in the multibillion dollar gaming industry. Kahlil also gained valuable experience cultivating impactful partnerships and understanding the connection between business and social impact through his roles at Major League Baseball, Legends, and Notre Dame Athletics.

Kahlil completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and was a member of the Varsity football team. In addition to his professional and academic pursuits, Kahlil is passionate about empowering youth. In 2015, he founded "Brotherhood Restored," a mentorship program committed to engaging and uplifting future leaders from under-resourced communities. Kahlil's diverse background heavily influences his approach to impact investing, allowing him to bring a well-rounded perspective to his work.
