Karla Moreno is a Senior Analyst at Avivar Capital, supporting the team with portfolio monitoring and due diligence. Previously, Karla served as an Associate at Mission Investors Exchange, where she worked to identify and create partnerships that increased the reach of MIE’s 200+ member foundations and family offices’s impact investing practices. Karla began her career at the State Department’s Women's Leadership Institute, after which she worked with Mexico’s Secretaría de Economía and INADEM (Institute of the Entrepreneur) in Mexico City in 2016. In 2018, she supported the launch of i(x) investments' and Angélica Fuentes's Equal Invest fund, the first point of entry for women at the base of the income ladder to generate capital market returns.

Karla earned her BA in Political Science from Saint Mary’s College with a concentration in International Peace Studies from The Kroc Institute at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
