Valeria is currently an MBA candidate at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Valeria has five years of Deloitte Consulting experience where she focused on large-scale business transformations and strategic change across a breadth of industries. She is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and has helped drive several DEI initiatives internally at Deloitte and developed DEI strategies for clients within the tech industry. At Stanford, she serves as an investor on Stanford’s GSB Impact Fund, where she focuses on increasing funding to founders of diverse backgrounds and to mission-driven technology startups. She aims to make an impact in the venture capital ecosystem by embedding DEI early into the DNA of a company and empowering diverse communities. Valeria grew up singing and playing the violin in a Mariachi, and in her spare time you’ll find her singing her favorite tunes.
